Rug Tow

RUG TOW
The tow produced by the rougher scutcher and is coarse. " Fine " tow is from the buffer scutcher. When the rug or coarse tow undergoes a further scutching process it is known as re-scutched or targed tow, and is more valuable for spinning (see Tow Preparing)
